Is Bharat Billing System really a one-time purchase?
Yes. You pay ₹7,999 once, and the software runs on your computer forever without ever asking for a renewal fee or monthly subscription. It is a perpetual license.
Does it require an internet connection?
No. BBS is a 100% offline-first application. You can run your entire billing counter, print receipts, and manage inventory without any internet connection. You only need the internet if you want to email an invoice or check for software updates.
Is my financial data safe?
Your data is completely safe because we never touch it. Unlike cloud software that stores your business data on third-party servers, BBS stores all data locally on your computer's hard drive. You are in complete control of your privacy.
Can I generate E-Invoices?
Yes. If your business crosses the ₹5 Crore threshold, our software can locally compile the required NIC v1.1 Schema JSON file for you to upload directly to the government portal. We do not charge any API gateway fees for this.
What hardware does it support?
BBS runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). It is plug-and-play compatible with all standard USB barcode scanners, cash drawers, and 2-inch/3-inch thermal receipt printers.
