Because our software is built as a 100% offline-first application, your financial data, customer records, inventory, and invoices never leave your local computer unless you explicitly choose to export them.

We do not have access to, nor do we collect, any of the business data you enter into the Bharat Billing System software. This includes:

  • Your customer names, phone numbers, or addresses.
  • Your sales, purchase, or expense data.
  • Your bank account details or UPI transaction records.
  • Your inventory or stock levels.

2. Information We Collect

The only information we collect is data related to your purchase and licensing of our software:

  • Billing Information: When you purchase a license, we collect your name, email address, billing address, and GSTIN (if applicable) to generate your invoice.
  • License Activation: The software makes a one-time connection to our license server during installation to verify your product key. It may periodically ping our server to check for software updates.
  • Website Analytics: When you browse our website (bharatbilling.in), we use standard cookies to analyze traffic and improve user experience.

3. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the billing and licensing information we hold. Since we do not hold your actual business data, the security of your business records depends entirely on the physical security of your computer and your local backup practices.
